Product Introduction

Technical Specifications For Oil Casing:

(1) According To SY/T6194-96 Regulations, Domestically Produced Casing Is Delivered In Variable Length, With A Length Range Of 8-13 Meters. But Casing Of No Less Than 6 Meters Can Be Provided, And The Quantity Shall Not Exceed 20%.

(2) The Inner And Outer Surfaces Of The Casing Shall Not Have Folds, Hairlines, Delamination, Cracks, Rolling Folds, Or Scars. These Defects Should Be Completely Removed, With A Removal Depth Not Exceeding 12.5% Of The Nominal Wall Thickness.

(3) The Outer Surface Of The Coupling Shall Not Have Defects Such As Folding, Hairline, Delamination, Cracking, Rolling, And Scarring.

(4) The Surface Of The Sleeve And Coupling Thread Should Be Smooth, And There Should Be No Burrs, Tears, Or Other Defects That Could Interrupt The Thread And Affect Its Strength And Tightness.

Oil Casing Is The Lifeline That Maintains The Operation Of Oil Wells. Due To Different Geological Conditions, The Underground Stress State Is Complex, And The Comprehensive Effects Of Tensile, Compressive, Bending, And Torsional Stresses Act On The Pipe Body, Which Puts High Demands On The Quality Of The Casing Itself. Once The Casing Itself Is Damaged For Some Reason, It May Lead To A Reduction In Production Or Even Scrapping Of The Entire Well.

According To The Strength Of The Steel Itself, The Casing Can Be Divided Into Different Steel Grades, Namely J55, K55, N80, L80, C90, T95, P110, Q125, V150, Etc. The Steel Grade Used Varies Depending On The Well Condition And Depth. In Corrosive Environments, It Is Also Required That The Casing Itself Has Anti-corrosion Properties. In Areas With Complex Geological Conditions, Casing Is Also Required To Have Anti Collapse Performance.

Different Casing Used In Oil Extraction:

Surface Oil Casing: Protects The Drilling Well From Contamination By Shallow Water And Gas Layers, Supports Wellhead Equipment, And Maintains The Weight Of Other Casings.

Technical Oil Casing: Separate The Pressure Of Different Layers To Facilitate The Normal Operation Of Drilling Fluid And Protect The Production Casing. In Order To Install Explosion-proof Devices, Leak Proof Devices, And Tailpipes Inside The Drill Pipe.

Oil Casing: Exporting Oil And Natural Gas From Subsurface Reservoirs. Used To Protect Drilling And Layer Drilling Mud. Oil Casing Typically Has An Outer Diameter Of 114.3 Millimeters To 508 Millimeters During Production.

Types And Packaging Of Oil Casing:

According To SY/T6194-96 "Petroleum Casing", There Are Two Types: Short Threaded Casing And Its Couplings, And Long Threaded Casing And Its Couplings.

10.3.1 Smelting Analysis

For Groups 1, 2 (excluding C110 Grade), And 3, If Requested By The Purchaser, The Manufacturer Shall Provide A Melting Analysis Report Of The Steel Used To Manufacture The Ordered Products For Each Furnace. If Requested By The Purchaser, The Manufacturer Shall Also Provide Quantitative Analysis Results Of Other Elements Used To Control Mechanical Properties.

For Grades C110 And Q125, The Manufacturer Shall Provide A Melting Analysis Report For Each Furnace Of Steel Used To Manufacture The Ordered Product. The Report Should Include Quantitative Analysis Results Of Other Elements Used By The Manufacturer To Control Mechanical Properties.

10.3.2 Product Analysis

Product Analysis Should Be Taken From Two Tube Products Per Batch. Manufacturers Should Conduct Product Analysis On Finished Pipe Products, Which Can Be Done Before Or After Heat Treatment. For Resistance Welded Pipe Products, Chemical Analysis Can Be Performed On The Strip Steel Used For Pipe Production.

Product Analysis Should Include Quantitative Analysis Results Of All Elements In Table C.4 Or Table E.4, As Well As Quantitative Analysis Results Of Other Elements Used By The Manufacturer To Control Mechanical Properties.

The Product Analysis Results Of Group 1, Group 2 (except For C110 Level), And Group 3 Shall Be Provided To The Purchaser Upon Request.

The Product Analysis Results For Levels C110 And Q125 Should Be Provided To The Purchaser.
